The Commish Report – November 2, 2015

Good morning everyone. Hope you all recovered from the weekend and Halloween and all that was going on. Lots of kids filled the neighborhoods with great costumes seeking out as much candy as possible…..and lots of adults filled the local establishments with great costumes seeking their own fun for the night. The great weather certainly gets people in the mood for these times of the year.

And as harvest continues in the fields, it’s time to congratulate the area teams for their fall seasons and continued good wishes for the teams still competing to advance to state. And for all the KC Royals fans out there, congratulations on winning the World Series Crown — 30 years in the making, they certainly were fun to watch.

As for last night’s MNF game, here are the Overtime results:

Home team Carolina Panthers — 29
Visiting team Indianapolis Colts — 26

Winning book # 46
Group 1 winner –Jim Schechinger ( probably out deer hunting now so tell him he won if you see him )
Group 2 winner — Tom Butler ( thanks to Tom and his family for all their years of service on Harlan Fire Dept. )

Congrats to these winners and there are still 9 games left, so we are officially at the half way point of the season. Enjoy the week and Daylight savings time!!
